It’s Rachel here, co-founder of Noughty.
When Lorna and I launched Noughty in 2016, we were on a mission to create a naturals hair and scalp care brand that prioritises people, planet, and paws, delivering you dazzling results and a big dollop of joy.
12 months ago, Noughty proudly joined the B Corp community, committing to create a better world and use business as a force for good. From day one, Noughty was Leaping Bunny approved and Vegan Society certified, and now 100% recyclable with First Mile.
Verified as Plastic Neutral through CleanHub, every Noughty product you buy supports the recovery of ocean-bound plastic in Southeast Asia, collecting waste before it enters the most precious ecosystem on earth. Noughty visited local partner Green Worms – a women co-operative – earlier this year meeting the inspiring team. Your Noughty purchases mean over 141,000kg of ocean bound plastic have been collected and safe, dignified, and fair-income jobs created.
Through newest partnership with Mosaic Trust, Noughty will host work experience placements, growing the potential of young LGBT+ persons to nurture future talent.
During the past two years there has been a continued global impact of labour, raw materials, and transportation costs. Whilst every effort is made to avoid increasing prices, it’s necessary now to maintain the high quality and product performance you deserve whilst supporting equity across the Noughty value chain.
From 1st July 2024 there will be price increases across several Noughty products. Most full-size products will increase by £1. Changes have been carefully considered and applied only when necessary. Look out for offers and added value by shopping direct with Noughty and check out the new Noughty Rewards program turning your pounds into perks.
If you order online – you might want to stock up before midnight on the 30th June 2024.
Every time you purchase a Noughty product you continue to support the mission to create sustainably, ethically sourced naturals that care for people, paws, and planet. Thank you.
Warmest wishes,
Rachel
